"Over the last few months I've become the proud owner of two of Liz's amazing paintings which I absolutely love. One is from her 'Seascape' series and the other is 'Inspired Thought'. Her talent and versatility in her work is incredible, looking at these paintings, the detail is wonderful and you really feel that you are there, walking on the beach with the waves crashing towards you or wandering in the woods full of autumn colours.
And my third painting - the colours are wonderful on the penguin painting, and it's particularly special at this difficult time, it makes me think of me and my partner sharing life together and wanting to be by each other's side and I've always loved Penguins, love the way they walk and just stand there!
And, your beautiful dish painting arrived and I really love it, it's so gorgeous with the lovely background colour to the beautiful robin standing on the berry branch. I know a lot of people love robins, who doesn't, but my grandmother who was a brilliant artist too (and I have many of her paintings here), also painted them and they always remind me of her. Sadly the artistic gene did not get passed down to me but I know I can always rely on you to produce something I love! I have it on my sideboard on its stand at the moment, looks great on it's stand. Your artwork is an absolute joy, brilliant!"

"Anything you do with hares grabs my attention! I have lots now. My sister has a necklace made of bronze that I bought her which she wears constantly and I'm sure it's good for her. My hare painting I got in one of your auctions - with snowdrops and golden sun - has attracted many compliments. I love it."

"No sooner did I receive my confirmation email last night than I received these beauties in the post today. Thank you Liz for these gorgeous and unique cards AND the little bonuses in the package! I’m tickled pink. 🥰 I’ll be giving these to loved ones with the knowledge that each means something special to me as they were created by an extremely talented and wonderful friend. I’m also stoked to support you as a small, local business as I believe that is always so crucial, especially within these challenging times. May your toes always be mistle! 🎄✌🏼❤️ "

"Hi, I came into the gallery this morning. I was the one singing bright eyes. You asked what paintings I liked. Well your pictures for me was bitter sweet. They reminded me of my dad .... He was attacked in 1995. He was severely brain damaged. He fought for three years but lost his battle for life aged 52 the same as I am now. In those three years he never came home he was in hospital all that time. Your pictures reminded me of him and the song bright eyes we played at his funeral. THE word is particular ' how can the light that shine do brightly suddenly turn so pale' hurts me to the core. The golden series the two paintings you had where you was sat on the wall. Reminded me of him. Those big beautiful eyes. His was the bluest of blues. The long painting with the rabbits frolicking in the meadow reminded me of when he passed and somehow left the pain and suffering behind him. He was at peace. I just wanted to share that with you. That's what your paintings did for me today. As I sat on the beach a white feather also found its way into the beach tent where I was sat. Thankyou for your beautiful art. Touched me so much. Thank you."

I love Liz’s individual style, with a spiritual energy that connects with something within me. I sense that something else is working through Liz to communicate an essence of universal consciousness. Her work really stretches the imagination and I feel this with both her paintings and sculptures. Her composition captures your attention in different ways with different paintings because she does have a Gemini way of thinking that brings out a broad range of styles – but you can always tell it’s one of hers. I have bought many paintings by Liz – her work always makes me search within … and I always find that Liz is expressing for me how I feel in the world.

The unveiling of the bedroom picture was exciting, breathtaking, & so stunning. Everything & more.
The recipients of both dog pictures will be thrilled to bits, they are so lovely I secretly don’t want to part with them !! The bumble on the blue poppy was for myself as I love poppies & bees & all things which make us admire Mother Nature in all her beauty. Words aren’t enough, absolutely stunningly beautiful. Thank you so much.

I’ve bought some of Liz’s gold leaf animal pictures before so I was delighted to see that this year she’s started selling Christmas cards. 5 different animal cards to choose from - all beautifully designed; I received mine well packaged in beautiful boxes. She has used really good quality card and they look just great. I can’t wait to send them out in December.

Beautiful and oh so cute Henry the dragon arrived this morning! He's resting now after his journey across the Irish Sea, as he's a tiny dragon the journey it tired him out. He'll be fine tonight, then of course he's going to live in Jennys house, with myself, Jenny and the 4 cats. There's plenty of company so there's only going to be lots of love here for you, Henry. Thank you so so much for letting. me adopt him Liz! ♥♥

I unexpectedly walked into an exhibition to find Liz Shewan's amazing and original artwork. I was captivated by a particular seascape where the horizon seemed to go on for ever and conveyed a real feeling of traveling without moving. She is without doubt a very talented artist.

Such an easy transaction. I ordered rainbow Owlie and a hand painted plate. Both items are lovely. The plate was for my daughters 21st. She loved it. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting your store again. Thank you.

"I am the very happy owner of at least 6 "Shewans" bought over a number of years starting some 15 years ago. They all still give immense pleasure to the whole familiy. It is of note that they are the only artwork that survived my getting married and I have even been allowed to add to the collection since that happy day. I cannot recommend her work highly enough."

Bring Nature into your Life
I'm glad your are here. I hope you like what you see.
Enough to make some of it part of your life, to bring the energy of nature and love into your life.
This black and white photo is of me in the studio I had in London at Wimbledon Arts Studios back in the early days -1999 when my career as a professional artist began. Inspired into a life changing moment into the world of Art by the African Wildlife on a never to be forgotten trip into the Maasai Mara. And gosh what a journey I have travelled since!
Please do take a good look around. And as always, any questions please just ask.
